Bukit Batok Chinese Orchestra(BBCO) is a young and dynamic Chinese Orchestra. It was set up in year 2003 under the baton of Mr. Lee Heng Quee, a home grown chinese orchestra musician. Mr. Lee is also the suona player of the Singapore Chinese Orchestra. BBCO, had staged many small public performances at the west side of Singapore and aspire to become a orchestra of talents. BBCO also held her first concert in Victoria School last year in June. Not only that, BBCO is also the first Orchestra in history to be the first ever Chinese Orchestra performing group in Singapore to hold a music exchange with another Chinese Orchestra group in Malaysia. At present stage, the orchestra consist of mainly Woodwind and Percussion musicians. It would be of great pleasure and honour for any new musician be it young or old to join.
