Stuart Anderson's a prminent rancher and washington state native, opened the the first Black Angus in the remodeled dining room of the Caledonia, an Old Seattle hotel he was operating. His concept for the restaurant was to provide patrons with top quality, complete steak dinners ar affordable price, served in a warm, comfortable atmosphere with friendly service, That concept has become the tradition Black Angus restaurants follow today.
Today Black Angus has over 80 restaurants located in thirteen states throughout the West and Mid-West. Each restaurant has approximately 75 employees serving almost an average of 3000 customers per week.
