Hi. I'm rather new to the world of guppies... not fish-keeping, but
never had guppies before. I've currently got them in a 5.5 gallon tank
with an Aqua-Tech Power Filter for 5-15 gallons (and a dwarf afrifcan
frog). But I've been noticing that the poor little guys (guppies, not
the frog) seem to be having a hard time fighting the current caused by
the water coming out of this filter. I really like the filter but I'm
concerned that this will stress them out too badly. I've been leaving
it off for the most part, turning it on only every once in a while to
help get food particles and the like out. I hate to go and spend
another $10 on a different filter... college student without a job....
but I don't want them to do poorly, either. Suggestions? Thanks.

well I'm starting to breed guppies so i'm buying some strain and in 2
month I hope I will try to import some, cuz there are no many strain
here and less pure strains. so I really, but really want to import
purple moscow guppy and other strain.

Erm...they came from the same thank when I bought them. Was told that
someone pass the fishes to the shop to sell, all the male are of
snakeskin only one is without, total 5 pairs, someone bought a pair,
I bought 2 pairs. my guess is that, the breeder was breeding the
snakeskin but throw out one normal, wanted to buy a trio but he sells
in pair so...
Wish to breed the normal one, see what it will turn out.
