Help desk/Help line volunteer (Training will be provided)

Responsibilities:
1) Assist workers with employment related difficulties
2) Provide information on migrant rights
3) Case documentation
4) Call and write emails to the authorities on behalf of migrant workers
5) Referral services
6) Distribute information leaflets to migrant workers

Skills needed:
1) Good listening and inter-personal skills. Patient and persistent
2) Able to speak Tamil, Bengali, Mandarin or Burmese an added bonus but not necessary

Commitment:
1) Choose either of the following time slots:
Weekdays:  4 hours: 9:30am - 1:30pm OR 2pm to 6pm
Weekends: 3 hours: Saturday: 930am to 1230pm OR 1230pm to 3pm;
Sunday: 530pm to 830pm :"
